Nigeria’s Minister of Industry, Trade, and Investment, Dr. Doris Uzoka-Anite, visited the Abuja Industrial Park for an on-site assessment and expressed her ministry’s commitment to supporting the project.

This support aims to enhance Nigeria’s economic growth and expand employment opportunities through the industrial park. Dr. Uzoka-Anite highlighted the strategic importance of the project, emphasizing the ministry’s determination to provide the necessary support in the fields of industry and investment.

NEPZA licences Abuja industrial park free zone with $150m investment portfolio

The Nigeria Export Processing Zones Authority (NEPZA) has licensed the Abuja Industrial Park (ZEBERCED) Free Zone with an initial investment portfolio of 150 million US dollars.

While handing over the operating license to the Turkish owners of the private zone, Dr. Olufemi Ogunyemi, Managing Director of NEPZA, revealed that the new business ecosystem, covering 250 hectares, would host over 170 factories and generate 40,000 jobs.
